2019 Learning A-Z Writing Competition – Info Access & Distribution(HK) Ltd.

Student writes creatively to describe their own designed Avatar on Kids A-Z.
Submit with the Avatar picture and write up:

For Grade 1-3, the word limit is 50- 150 words
For Grade 4-6, the word limit is 100-200 words

Objectives:

Promoting student’s creativity by designing & writing about their Coolest Avatar
Encouraging students to read books & improving their reading and comprehension skills
Promoting students to create their own unique writings on their interested topics

Submit this competition form to [email protected] or mail to Room 3703-05, 37/F, 9 Wing Hong Street, Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon, HK with remark “Learning A-Z Writing Competition” on or before 10th May
Result Notification: End of June

Judges & Rules

Judges are from Learning A-Z Professional Development Team, USA. The award assessment will be based on spellings, punctuation, grammar accuracy, sentence fluency and overall presentation of the student’s writing as well as the Avatar design.

Rules:

Writing must be written on the competition form. Late submission will not be accepted.
Prohibit plagiarism.
The awarded prizes will be announced and posted on the Learning A-Z official website and the social media.
In case of dispute, the decision of Info Access and Learning A-Z shall remain final.

Awards

Awards (for each group):
1st: Book Voucher $300 + Fabulous Gift
2nd: Book Voucher $200 + Fabulous Gift
3rd: Book Voucher $100 + Fabulous Gift
Merit Prize x5: Book Voucher $50
*All winners will get the certification from Learning A-Z.

Distinction Award:
The school with the top number of participants will have a year of one Science Literacy Collection license.
